Strongly recommended for anyone working in the city for lunch. They serve $10 lunch meals which are perfect portion and it does not compromise on the quality. For serious chilli eaters, I recommend nasi goreng with shallot and chilli.

Good food and excellent customer service from the owner/staff! If you are a backpacker at the village hostel (formerly YHA) and looking for halal cheap indonesian food in Canberra city. Just $10 a lunch box, heaps you can choose from.

This is by far the best ‘hole in the wall’ takeaway food outlet in Canberra city. I’m often getting a lunch box of yummy Indonesia curry or stir frys. Excellent value, always hot, comes with a drink and appetiser for $10. The guy who serves is super friendly, and does it with a smile! Also has a brilliant range of vegetarian dishes.

Great meals and prices. Little bit more rice pleaseeee. Updated - went back the next day as I did like the meal and this time asked for more rice which was handed over at no cost even though I offered. Truly nice people and food here

I never leave without a smile. Reminds me of home a lot where we would buy nasi bungkus (rice with veggies and protein wrapped in leaves/brown paper) for lunch, the concept is similar only here they use boxes instead :)

Really recommend this place if you are looking for a quick takeaway lunch, they do $10 lunch specials that come with a snack and drink. Food is also very delicious!
