A company that also manage Pondok Laguna in Carlton, Victoria and OKO OKO Bali, Indonesia. Grand Laguna stocks a wide range of South East Asian products that originated from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand along with selected products from Philippine, Vietnam, Japan, Korea, China and Colombia.

At first I thought this place is small from the outside.. but once you got inside, you will find a very almost complete shop of Indonesian groceries... I mean really its like you can find everything inside there, the place is not wide but it was a vertically long inside. And you will feel like shopping in one of the shop in Indonesia there 😀 The service is also nice and very helpful... And the price is reasonable of each product...

Not just a standard Asian supermarket. Grand Laguna is the best Indonesian Supermarket in Melbourne. I know the owner and he’s very meticulous about picking the best and hard to find Indonesian snacks and food.

Great for Indonesian products and spices. They have most things you could get in Jakarta in regular shops, big range. Prices very reasonable

You can get almost all kinds of Asian stuff you need with the feel like back home! Got these biscuits, a product from Malaysia...... fillings taste as good and worth its price AUD3/ (AUD 2.99)

Very good Indonesian/Asian grocery store but not only you can also find south American products like empenadas or Colombian sausages. Staff is mostly friendly.

Huge variety of Asian food, frozen, cooked & even some exotic asian fruits - starfruit & jambu air (watery apple) Not something you see everyday, definitely worth a visit!!

Huge range of Indonesian products - good prices( and reasonable Thai as well). Bright and clean with helpful staff. Very happy to have found this Asian supermarket in this area.

Fantastic selection of Indonesian and Asian food and supplies. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they usally have what I'm after. Considering what it costs to buy many of their stocked products online, the prices are quite reasonable. The store is quite small, however, and I often find myself brushing shoulders with other shoppers. This is my favourite Asian food store in Melbourne!

I wanted a load of Malaysian and Indonesian ingredients. I found everything I wanted here. The shelves are well organised and divided up by country, which makes finding things easier. There is a good selection of fresh and frozen items too. The staff are really friendly and are able to find things in exactly the place you were looking for the last 20 minutes. Ha ha. I can't really comment on the prices but I feel like I got a lot for what I paid.

Excellent customer service. The staff are very helpful and very knowledgeable. Nothing is too difficult for them. The customer service surpasses all their competitors at Hawthorn as well as Abbotsford in my humble opinion. There is a great range of Asian groceries available at a very reasonable cost. Many items like fresh noodles, rice, bean sprouts and some canned goods are cheaper than their competitors.The Asian Greens are also pretty fresh looking compared to some of their competitors. Their selection of takeaways like nasi lemak, kuehs, hainanese chicken rice, meehoon siam are excellent value, tasty and very authentic. Their takeaways are stored hygienically unlike some of the Asian grocery stores at Abbotsford. I have been shopping at Grand Laguna for 24 years and love it

Amazingly wide selection of foods, salted egg noodles recommended and also make sure to investigate the fridges at the front, had a very good selection of premade meals, halal friendly! Staff always very friendly and the prices are very reasonable.

If you missed Indonesian stuffs then here is your best bet. The lowest price among other asian groceries I have visited. They do not always have what you want but they do provide wide range of variety within their small store.

I found this place online after searching the Web for a product. I found what I was looking for...and being in lockdown, I thought I would try the delivery option. For around $10 from Hawthorn to Brunswick East...I thought more than reasonable and was willing to risk it...not being delivered. To my surprise...my products were delivered the next day by a lovely little friendly lady...very impressed. I can't wait till they open their Preston Store. Thank you. Paul

I love going to this store. They have a wide range of asian products. Their store is in Hawthorn and expanding to Point Cook and Preston. It is a one stop centre where all things that you need is available in the store. My all time favourites are the keropok lekor and they have it here! Always have that in stock. You can also order the groceries online. The delivery service was good as they will try to delivery your order on the same day. You can check the charges on their website (according to poscode). I am totally satisfied with their services. The staffs were also friendly and helpful if you need their help to find a certain product.

Hard to get thru by phone but easy to talk to in the shop. Wide range of of asian Indonesian goods. They where happy to change our order from delivery to click and collect
