📍 𝗗𝗮𝗽𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗲 — 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗞𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻 ⭑.ᐟ ❤︎ 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗱-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱: Missing Indo vibes and randomly craving satay ❤︎ 𝗙𝗮𝘃 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗵: Chicken Satay Madura with Indomie combo ❤︎ 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿: A taste of Indo food when you’re abroad and hungry for nostalgia ❤︎ 𝗩𝗶𝗯𝗲: Feels like a busy food stall back home, but in the middle of Sydney Finally tried Dapur Sate, and it gave exactly what I needed—comfort food that hits straight to the heart. I ordered their sate ayam with Indomie and omg… why does Indomie always taste 10x better when it’s made by someone else? The noodles were fragrant, perfectly cooked, and topped with crispy shallots that made it even more addictive. The chicken satay? Juicy, flavorful, grilled just right with a light char and enough peanut sauce to keep it rich without being overwhelming. I was surprised at how generous the portion was too! You get that satisfying manis-gurih combo with every bite. We also ordered the sate maranggi—a sweet, soy-based beef satay with nasi uduk on the side. It’s a bit sweeter than I usually like, but the beef was tender and went well with the rice and acar. The nasi uduk itself was quite nice—fluffy and mildly fragrant, a cozy base for all that grilled goodness. Definitely a must-visit if you miss the vibes of Indo street food—quick, tasty, and heartwarming. I’d love to come back and try more from the menu next time! —𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒋𝒐𝒇⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡

Absolutely delicious! Dapur Sate never disappoints. The chicken satay was perfectly grilled, tender, and packed with flavor – topped with crispy fried shallots that added the perfect crunch. The noodles were incredibly tasty and well-seasoned, also garnished with fried shallots for extra texture. The sauces on the side complemented the meal beautifully – one spicy, one tangy, both amazing. Everything was served hot and fresh. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving authentic and satisfying Indonesian street food! 🍢🍜🔥

Good satay sticks here . I had the Munch box which came with three different skewers (chicken satay, lamb satay and beef satay), coconut rice, spring rolls and fries. Enough to feed 2-3 people. You get a free chocolate bar with each Munch box purchase. I like the beef satay skewers the best it was the most tasty, the other two flavours were more subtle and a little dry/chewy. They also have single meals with skewers and coconut rice or noodles under $20.

So good! Tried the chicken satay with rice cakes and wow — everything was spot on. The chicken was super juicy with that perfect charred taste, and the peanut sauce was seriously addictive (I could’ve drunk it with a spoon). The rice cakes were soft and soaked up the sauce perfectly. Simple dish but full of flavour. Staff were really friendly too, and it came out quickly even though the place was busy. Definitely coming back — comfort food done right 🙌🍢

The satay is tender, the seasoning is absorbed, and it is grilled perfectly—not too burnt, but still has a tempting smokey aroma. The fries are also crispy and are a perfect accompaniment. The sauce is savory and slightly spicy, making you eat even more! The packaging is neat and suitable for take away. Highly recommended for those looking for a heavy snack or a casual dinner.👍🏻🤤✨

Amazing sate here in Sydney! Highly recommend it coming from an Indonesian. The beef and lamb sate were both very tender and juicy, cooked perfectly on the grill. And the coconut rice and peanut sauce the perfect pairing to go with it. I like how they provide specialty sate with different styles from all around Indonesia like Java and Bali. I would come out of my way to get this again. The service was very warm and friendly and not long wait time.

As an Indonesian, I’m so happy to finally find authentic satay in Sydney! They have a great variety, including chicken, beef, and lamb, all paired with their delicious signature sauces. My personal favorite is the Chicken Satay Madura with peanut sauce and rice cakes—it’s absolutely amazing 💗

This satay is absolutely delicious! The meat is tender, not that salty, and the soy sauce flavor is spot on. Plus, it's affordable and perfect for a family gathering. I'd give it an 8.5 out of 10. Thanks!

As an Indonesian living in Sydney, I'm always on the hunt for food that reminds me of home and this place certainly hits the spot! Generous portions and reasonably priced. The meat on the satay is substantial and they have a nice variety of them! Their coconut rice also is a great accompaniment and the more Aussie addition of Chips is a very welcome addition 😁 The staff are also very friendly too, which is a plus

Halal & cheap eats at Darling Square! Indonesian sate (satay) are authentic. The Chicken Satay Madura with Peanut Sauce is so good, and I wouldn’t mind having more peanut sauce for it! I really loved the lamb & beef satays, especially that spicy sweet soy sauce is super good 👍 Nusantara Grilled Chicken with Tempeh & Tofu Bacem and Coconut Rice is great value for only $16.90, with tender chicken & good tempeh bacem! They’re super lovely people too, I’ll be back!

Great to find authentic Indonesian sate Choice of different regional styles including- not every sate should be riveted in peanut sauce as most Australians seem to think! Authentic varieties Great service In Darling Square location Highly recommend

The skewers were grilled to be so juicy and flavourful, coupled with the various sauces you could pick. I really liked the set boxes they had which were all under $20 and you got to pick either rice cake, coconut rice or migoreng noodles. I definitely will return again!

Great food at a cheap and reasonable price! I always go for the grilled chicken with rice lunch set for only $14 with a decent portion. I've also tried the satays, and they’re absolutely amazing. Even though it’s located right in the centre of the food court, the stall setup still gives off the vibe of authentic Indonesian street food. Highly recommended!

i didn’t expect to find such a hidden gem of authentic Indonesian food here in Sydney. Not only are the satays mouth-watering delicious, the meat is properly seasoned and super tender. You could even split it half/half if you want to try different variations! Definitely have to go here and try it out for yourself. It’s located in Darling’s nest 🪹

🌟 Satay lovers, this one’s for you! 🌟 I think I’ve found the BEST satay in Sydney – bold claim, I know, but hear me out! 😍 From the very first bite, I was hooked.
