I really enjoyed the Yellow rice with Beef rendang, Tempe vegie and Anchovy peanut. The place is simple, with friendly staffs. Price is reasonable which is around $18 per meal. I will be back and thank you!

Great and Affordable Authentic Indonesian Food I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The Bubur Ayam was delicious, though I would have preferred it with a bit less salt. The lamb satay was tender and juicy, and all the other dishes were equally tasty. The owner was also very courteous, adding to the pleasant dining experience.

Place has re-opened again, wooohoo. attached new photos One of best padang food in melbourne. Beef rendang was tasty, juicy, and tender. Beef lungs was fried with lightly coated batter so every bite was crispy and a bit chewy inside which it’s to my liking 🤪. then, the aroma and taste from the rice that lightly bath with jackfruit curry was ........... gosh i am hungry again 😋😋😋😋 oh yes!!! batagor also recommend to try too

Nasi campur was ok, unfortunately flavor was not strong enough. Perkedel was delicious tho. The satay was also very nice. Flavorful marinated meat it was juicy and tender.

This is by far, a fantastic Indonesia theme restaurant! So authentic, delicious, various, and will definitely bring the Indonesian experience. You will have "warteg"- styles menus, with a lot of surprise. Padang, bakso, Iga, Ketoprak, just name it. The place is not a fancy one, but still comfortable. For the price, it varies, but mostly 15. The only thing you need to note is, they are close at 6. So, make your time! Aaad, of course, it is Halal!

Excellent and authentic Indonesian outfit, feels like you are in Jakarta when you are here😀Had the ayam bakar (grilled chicken) that came with tempe and rather interesting spinach soup that complemented the grilled chicken perfectly. Prompt service and good portions. Will be back again. Complements to the chef! Sedap 👍🏽

Ordered mini tempung (picture attached below) for friend's birthday. Good balance of nonveg (ikan bills, ayam, beef rendang) with 3 veg options. Presentation of the food is important and guests enjoyed the food for special occasion.

Oh man!! It's a restaurant that will make you feel home. The ladies are awesome and the foods are beyond description. If you are going, make sure you try their fish curry or else your life is a waste! Go early or else you will be disappointed with an empty bowl. They sell out really quick I am going back again. You ladies ROCK!

I absolutely love this place. The people are friendly. The food is amazing. The price is perfect. If you like authentic indonesian and being made to feel like one of the family then try this place. It may look quirky, but you're there for the food. My indonesian friend says it's just like her grandmother made it.

Food portion and the taste are good now. spices are balanced and chilli paste is very hot and go well with the foods. I ordered rice and 3 dishes. I will come back again.

This place is unpretentious but serves really good Indonesian food.The food is fresh and the flavours, authentic. Very good value for money, the staff are also polite and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Excellent food!!! Reasonable prices and so authentic according to my indo friend, it tastes "just like home". Would definitely come back here again! We had the iga bakar (amazing peanut sauce btw) and the ayam bakar! 💯💯💯

The food is amazing. I ordered Ayam Bakar taliwang and also the spicy beef rib soup . The tinge of freshly made sambal goes so well with the food and it is as authentic as you can get here.

I would recommend their Nasi Goreng if you are about to choose which food they're best at. Especially if you get used to Indonesian cuisine. For cheaper options, choose menu from their bain marie trays. It is only 6 dollars for any rice [you can ask a big portion of steamed WHITE rice] with one dish , 9 dollars for two dishes, and 11 (12?) for three dishes, dine in. I think they have the cheapest prices in Melbourne for this option. Their rendang is okay. Their fried chickens [they have some choices to choose for fried chicken] are also good. If it rains and or chilly, their ox tail soup would be a good choice served with steamed white rice. By the way, they also provide FREE jasmine tea.
