Bakmie House
Had the bakmie ayam pangsit. Read the description: the pangsit is not the usual pangsit with meat inside it. Should also add MSG to better replicate it with the indonesian version. Service was fast

This was a pleasant surprise, fantastic food. Fresh and well priced. We even went on a Sunday without surcharge. There are toilets on premise, they accept card and fast service. I loved the Mee Goreng tek tek, great flavour. I don't rate the meats or thr hainan chicken rice but their traditional indo dishes are spot on. Outstanding. Highly recommended!

Good selection of noodles and rice dishes, with snacks to share. Fast service. Indoor dining area that is casual, suitable for small and big groups. Food is generous in portion, seasoning and flavour. Noodles are of the right chewy texture. Absolutely delicious to tuck in but feels full/jelak easily

Bought 4 portions of noodles and got 1 sambal. The person ahead of me bought just 1 portion and got 1 sambal. I asked for an extra and was told it’s $1. Amazing—spend more, get less! I didn’t realize sambal had become a luxury item. If you’re going to be stingy, at least be consistent.

First time, I tried this restaurant...it really amazed me. It reminds me of my hometown..although they have a variety of Indonesian Food. Bakmie Babi, Ayam Kuning was my favourite. Other menu was worth to try. Their thin noodle reminds me of street food that I used to enjoy when I was a kid. Other menu on the list include Green Chilli duck, it was cooked so tender. Being living in Perth for 20 years, I can tell that this place served authentic Chindo Cuisine in Perth. Highly recommended.

Delicious food, great value. Our only complaint is that the tiled floor, windows and glass entry door grimey and dirty- easy to fix, so I hope feedback is noted.

Very tasty and flavourful, friendly and fast service! We got the green chili duck and bakmie babi pangsit; the chili condiments for both dishes are soooo good!

I heard about this place from a colleague. I was there at around 6 and the place was quite empty which made me nervous about trying it. The menu sounded interesting so I bit the bullet. Having only been to Bali and not Jakarta, I thought I'd try the bakmie ayam pangsit. The waitress explained the large would have double the noodle portion.u The small suited my low carb preference. I sat down to wait for the takeaway and then decided to dine in instead. It was no issue at all. She proceeded to wipe down the table which remained damp. When the food arrived, the waitress placed it on the table and gestured to the utensils station. No eye contact though friendly enough. Well, small was a kid's serve!! It was probably just under my usual portion too so order the large if you visit. Visually it was lean on the protein. I tossed it to see if perhaps more chicken was buried under the noodles. Nope. Portion is probs good for lunch. The taste was a delight though with shallots, chicken and straw mushroom flavours all coming together from some faraway indo warung. I drank the soup and wondered if I'd be comatosed from msg. Seems okay!! Not sure if I'd return. Possibly only if I'm in the area.

Mar 2025 Came here for meals before, this is the first review though. Very value for money and tasty noodles. Pretty authentic for the Chicken rice and kolo Mee. Was introduced to try out their "not on menu" dish - Beef Brisket Dry Noodles with Chilli Oil. Beef brisket is fried and tasty, the dish is spicy (7.5/10 spiciness) Will come back again.

Even better than some of the food I had back home. Brilliant stuff. You won’t this bakmie ayam anywhere else in Perth.

Love the mie babi. We ordered mie ayam and mie babi.... the mie ayam version is far from Indo style. Not bad, but i prefer the babi ones.

Obsessedd, pretty much my new favorite & go to spot for Indonesian food. Tried most of their dishes in the menu and none of them disappoint. Their Hainan Chicken rice is my favorite in Perth, even if they don’t specialise in it. Nothing beats a good Mie Ayam on a Sunday morning, place is very cosy and staffs are super friendly. If I crave Indonesian sambel, without a doubt the sambel bawang in their ayam goreng kuning is so good. Not to mention their Nasi goreng tastes just like the abang-abang street vendor in Indo, super rich in flavor and generous portion for its price. Was surprised at how fast their service was considering how busy they’d get. Something about their food, just transported me back home. Even for just a split second, it felt like I was back at Indo. Very authentic, very demure.

The worst Hainanese chicken I ever eaten in my life “in this world”. The chicken was dried, salted and overcooked. It can only be called garlic chicken rice. When I walked in the store with “open” sign, every staffs were sitting around the dining table and looking at me like I interrupt their lunch time. Such an terrible experience

I try Bakmie Babi (pork) and Kwetiau Seafood. The taste is good. The menu has information about alergies. There is toilet inside restaurant.

This is a casual, no-frills restaurant serving Indonesian and Malaysian flavours. We ordered the Mie Goreng Tek Tek, which was packed with flavour. Next time, we’d opt for a vegetarian version to fully enjoy the chewy fried noodles. The Kolo Mee met our expectations—great taste. Highly recommend these dishes:- *Indonesian Ayam Goreng Kuning, which was absolutely delicious. The sambal, with its perfect balance and chunky garlic, elevated the dish. *weekend special Babi large spare ribs with rice. Not overly sweet but enough to want more.

I visited Bakmi House after a friend recommended it, and it was an absolute gem. The restaurant is spacious with simple yet comfortable decor, and even during lunch, it was easy to find a seat. The service was quick, making the dining experience even better. Their menu features a wide selection of noodle and rice dishes, which made it tough to choose just one. I decided on the Mie Goreng Tek Tek, and it was phenomenal! The flavors instantly took me back to the street food vendors in Jakarta. It was well-portioned, perfectly seasoned, packed with umami, and reasonably priced. We also ordered the Prawn Blanket, Chilly Salty Fried Tofu, and Chicken Bites to share. Every dish was delicious, but the Prawn Blanket was especially memorable, it was unique and absolutely packed with flavor. My friend tried the signature Bakmie and Sarawak Kolo Mie, and we all agreed that everything was fantastic. I just wish they had a location closer to my home in the northern suburbs so I could visit more often! If you’re craving authentic Indonesian food with quick service and a cozy atmosphere, Bakmi House is a must-visit. The food is truly soul-warming and leaves you feeling satisfied and nostalgic :)

Have tried most of their noodle dishes, really tasty and like the fact they have 2 sizes to cater to different dietary capacities. Noodles is very flavorful cooked to the right levels where there is still texture. Food on the salty side in my opinion. Chicken rice was also delicious/
